This is the (currently provisional) itinerary for the 9th Parachute Battalion Reunion Club Pilgrimage to Normandy in 2019.
Be aware that, as this is a major anniversary, so this itinerary can be subject to change depending on event time changes in Normandy. Roads will be busy therefore timings may be altered.

Monday 3rd June
Arrive at Golf Hotel – late evening.
Tuesday 4th June
1100 – Ceremony St. Vaast-en-Auge
1230 – Lunch Merville
1300 – Dedication Ceremony at Merville
1430 – Naming of Street – Rue Gordon Newton
Then free time and return to Hotel for Evening
Meal (with French guests – TBC)
Wednesday 5th June
0930 – Le Mesnil wreath laying/ceremony followed by Wreath Laying – Dozulé/Varaville/Chateau St. Come.
1300 – Lunch Merville (afternoon free)
1600 – Ceremony at 9th Battalion Monument at Gonneville-en-Auge
1700 – Official ceremony at 9th Battalion Monument – Merville
1800 – Official Ceremony for Museum improvements
2030 – By local bus to Curry Supper (Late night)
Thursday 6th June
1000 – Ceremony Ranville Cemetery. Followed by Vin d’Honneur.
1230 – Lunch Merville. Followed by possible visit to Pegasus.
1600 – Return to Hotel – rest and evening meal.
2100 – Local bus to Son et Lumiere. (Late night)
Friday 7th June
Battlefield Tour of Falaise Gap with Picnic lunch.
Evening meal at Hotel.
Saturday 8th June
Early start – for morning ferry.
