Here is the provision itinerary of events for the 2026 Pilgrimage. This may be useful for those in the 9bn family who are travelling separately from the main Pilgrimage party, to coordinate with events etc.
Thursday 4th June.
Depart Union Jack Club 10am prompt. Arrive Portsmouth approx. 12.15
Arrive at Hotel Libera in Colombelles – Late evening.
Friday 5th June.
0900 – Le Mesnil Ceremony, followed by wreath laying.
1000 – Merville Battery Tour
1300 – Lunch at Merville Battery.
1500 – Ceremony Gonneville-en-Auge.
1700 – Ceremony Merville Battery. Drinks afterward
1900 – Latest return to hotel for dinner at 7.30
Saturday 6th June
Arrive 0930 for 1000 – Ranville Cemetery (ceremony starts at 11am)
1300 – Lunch Merville Battery
1400 – Pegasus visit then Wreath laying – approx. 4pm Breville-les-Monts.
TBC – Wreath- laying at Canadian Memorial and Dozulet?
1800 – BBQ at Gonneville
2200 – Latest return to hotel
Sunday 7th June
0900 – Final visit to Battery?
1230 – packed lunch from Hotel
1430 – St Mere Eglise & Normandy Memorial (TBC)
1930 – Final evening meal at hotel with GIP / Merville Battery / Gonneville guests
Monday 8th June
0600 – Luggage on coach
0615 – Depart for ferry home
